Fibrosis Evaluation Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need an evaluation?
An evaluation is required to collect all background information of your case, assess your goals and create a personalized treatment.
Can you evaluate if I send you photos or videos?
No. Therapists do not evaluate via photos or videos. Additionally, messages are handled by support staff. Fibrosis is more than the way it looks and sometimes, it affects motion, breathing, and other bodily functions. Therapists will assess your condition with a series of questions and then, perform the observation of the areas needing treatment.
What is the consultation for?
- Review the background of your surgeries and treatments received elsewhere.
- Assess your goals and expectations.
- Determine if you are a candidate for our technique.
- Estimate the number of sessions that are needed to achieve your goals.
- Quote a treatment plan.
Why do I need to pay for the consultation?
While most practices provide a free-of-charge consultation, these are conducted by an “advisor” or “surgery coordinator.” This position is sales-oriented and will try to sell as many services as possible.
Marian Sotelo-Paz conducts our teleconsultation directly. She is the founder-director and creator of the two US-patented techniques for fibrosis prevention and correction.
The consultation fee covers the time a specialized therapist spends reviewing your case and creating a personalized treatment plan. It is non-refundable, with no exceptions, and its value will not be applied to other services unless otherwise posted.
I wan to do my consultation in person, is this possible?
Yes! In-person consultations are available at our Kissimmee location. Those candidates interested in this option must follow the same process as those consulting remotely:
- Paying the consultation fee.
- Completing the authorization for consultation forms
Once you have completed these two steps, we will coordinate a time for your visit.
I had an unplanned trip and I am nearby, Do you take walk-ins for an evaluation?
We are sorry, but we do not accept walk-ins for our services. Thank you for your understanding.
What should I expect from the consultation?
Our teleconsultation follows the procedures of a formal consultation with a health professional. We allocate approximately 40 minutes during which:
➊ – We will ask specific questions: we need to collect information to assess your case
➋ – You will ask questions.
➌ – Observation: you can show here your areas of concern.
Can I do my consultation and treatment on the same appointment?
The short answer is no.
We will email you the report of findings 72 business hours after the consultation. This delay is due to the thorough evaluation and analysis we conducted to ensure the report’s accuracy. Please check our spam folder if you haven’t seen our message, or contact us if the message has not arrived after 72 business hours after evaluation. We appreciate your patience while we diligently prepare your quote and strongly encourage you to always plan with enough notice.
I have had multiple treatments and nothing worked. Will you tell me how you remove the fibrosis during the consultation?
Marian will not reveal the details of her protocol during the consultation, as they are a confidential part of her proprietary technique. She will evaluate the therapeutic aspect and your candidacy for her technique. After the consultation, the administrative area will write a report detailing the price, payment methods, estimated number of sessions, and scheduling process.
I don't want to pay the consultation fee if I don't have an idea of the treatment price. What should I do?
We take pride in our personalized protocols and treatment plans. It would be unrealistic to provide a ballpark figure without considering specific factors. A consultation is necessary to accurately quote your treatment.
I am in a different time zone, how would this work?
We are happy to offer video consultations for patients in various time zones. We greatly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work towards finding a convenient time slot for everyone involved. It is crucial to emphasize the significance of careful planning to prevent misunderstandings and dissatisfaction caused by scheduling conflicts. We would like to reiterate that our services are tailored to each individual, and appointments are typically scheduled several weeks in advance.
